How do you start your day?

I wake up after a full night’s sleep wondering why I don’t feel more refreshed, grab a coffee and get on with the day

That familiar knot in my stomach shows up before I’m fully awake. Then my brain starts reminding me of everything that might go wrong today

I reach for my phone as soon as I wake up. Getting dressed with one hand slows me down a bit, but means I can keep scrolling

I hit snooze as many times as I can get away with before I drag myself out of bed

When everything is just Too Much, what's your first warning sign that overwhelm is about to hit?

Erm... that question suggests overwhelm would have to have stopped at some point?

The voice in my head that pipes up to ask me what the flip is wrong with me as there’s definitely no good reason for me to be overwhelmed right now

What warning sign? I go directly from totally fine to rage screaming into my pillow

Finding myself watching endless cat videos with no memory of picking my phone up

You get a rare evening doing something you genuinely love, how does it go?

I try to feel excited, but then my brain ruins it by finding all the things to worry about

I miss the start because I have a panic attack on the way there - and spend the rest of the night beating myself up about it

I throw myself into it - finally something that drowns everything else out!

It’s fine. I enjoy it and then carry on with my life

You've been undermined at work and you’re angry about it - what do you do to cope?

I just carry on with my day, I don't really get angry - there’s no point

Honestly? Filling my online shopping basket with things I don't need

I just survive until bedtime - I don't have time for feelings!

I waste the day thinking about all the things I should have done differently, then wake up in the middle of the night in a panic about it

When you see the latest reel telling you to "sit with your feelings" you…

Get a vague sense of feeling "bad". Then spiral trying to work out exactly what kind of bad

Sit down, don't feel much, and wonder if I'm doing it wrong

Swear at the screen! It must be nice to have time to sit with anything

Suddenly remember something very important I need to google
