Rarely. The plan is the plan.

Once or twice. Life happens.

Most nights. The fridge tells me what we are actually eating.

How much time do you spend deciding what to cook versus actually cooking? *

I decide fast. Cooking takes most of the time.

Probably 50/50. Thinking and cooking take about the same.

I spend WAY more time deciding. The mental math is the whole job.

I have never thought about this and now I am a little angry.

Almost never. I make peace with my choices.

Once a week. Usually the chicken nugget night.

Several times a week. I feel like I should be doing better.

The guilt is basically part of the meal at this point.

When someone in your house asks "what's for dinner?," how does it land? *

Fine. I know the answer. I say the answer. We move on.

It depends on the day. Some days it is fine. Some days I want to scream.

It feels like an accusation. Like I am supposed to have a fully-formed plan at all times.
