The Human Ecology Assessment

This assessment is not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers.

It’s designed to help you step back and look at the systems around you — work, environment, rhythms, expectations — and how your body and mind are responding to them.

Most people are taught to blame themselves when energy drops, focus fades, or motivation disappears.

This assessment takes a different view:

👉 Your biology is responding intelligently to the conditions it’s in.

Answer honestly, without overthinking.
Your first response is usually the most accurate.

SECTION 1: YOU IN YOUR BODY

SECTION 2: MENTAL & EMOTIONAL LOAD

SECTION 3: WORK & ROLE ECOLOGY

SECTION 4: ENVIRONMENT & RHYTHMS

SECTION 5: RECOVERY & CAPACITY

SECTION 6: REFLECTION

Thank you for completing the Human Ecology Assessment

Thank you for taking the time to reflect carefully.

Most people tell me that simply answering these questions helps them see their situation more clearly — often with more kindness toward themselves.

If you’d like, I can personally review your responses and send you a written Human Ecology Reflection highlighting:

  • the key pressures shaping your current state

  • what your symptoms or fatigue may be responding to

  • where reduction (not effort) would likely help most

  • what stabilisation could realistically look like for you

This is not coaching, therapy, or treatment.
It’s perspective — from someone who has spent decades looking at how bodies respond to long-term pressure.
