TENTATIVE, BUT CURIOUS - I’m interested but nervous when I think of myself participating in high-intensity activities like these. I’m not yet certain if this adventure is right for me.

OPEN - I’m intrigued by the activities offered at ALIV, and I feel very positive I’d like to engage. I will be cautious when I participate, however, because I want to get back home in one piece!

EAGER - I believe I've got what it takes to complete this 4-day journey, and I'm willing to test my limits and find out.

READY - I was BORN FOR THIS. I tend to THRIVE in physically challenging environments: Bring it on!

What is your level of experience with OFF-ROAD motorcycles?

What is your level of experience with motorcycles? *

NO EXPERIENCE - This will be my first time. If accepted, I’m eager to try something both new and epic!

BEGINNER - I’ve done this before. I’m familiar with using a clutch and shifting gears, but I may be challenged on some of the more difficult terrain.

INTERMEDIATE - My operational skills are solid. I can use all of the controls with ease and without thinking about it. I’m confident riding in most conditions, including challenging off-road terrain. Although, from time to time, I may tip over in the dirt.

ADVANCED - I’ve been riding for many years, and I’m confident and capable both on road and off-road. I have an extensive background on many motorcycle types, and may have competed in sanctioned on and/or off-road events at an expert level.

PRO - At one point in my life, I was paid very well to ride motorcycles, and I haven’t stopped riding since.

What is your level of experience with STREET-BASED motorcycles?REET-BASED motorcycles ExperienceT

NO EXPERIENCE - This will be my first time. If accepted, I’m excited to try something new!

NOVICE - I’ve done this before. I know traffic laws and best practices. I can use a clutch and shift gears. I’m a competent rider, but I may feel nervous navigating busy highways or charging a long series of “s” corners on a canyon road—but I can do it. I’m ready, but I may need some pointers occasionally.

INTERMEDIATE - My skills are solid. I can use all controls easily and feel confident in most situations, including busy highways, and lane splitting. I handle sharp consecutive curves well and understand how to counter steer and trail brake effectively. I’m comfortable maintaining maximum lean angles over extended periods—I know how to read the tarmac and stay within my tire’s limits.

ADVANCED - I’ve been riding for years and am confident in every situation. I have extensive experience with various motorcycle types, have attended organized track-day events (circuit racing) and competed at an expert level. I can handle any pavement situation flawlessly.

PRO - At one point, I was paid well to ride motorcycles, and I haven’t stopped since.
