MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME:
Participant self-assessment

This assessment is designed to measure your growth in confidence and competence over the 9-month Leadership Programme.

The  purpose is to understand where you are now, so we can tailor the sessions to meet your needs and track your growth over time.

By completing it at the start and end of the programme, we’ll be able to:

  • Identify focus areas for your development and support

  • Ensure the programme is structured in the most relevant way for you

  • Recognise and celebrate your growth as a leader over the coming months

This is about insight, not evaluation, so please respond openly and honestly.

How It’s Measured

Each statement is rated on a 1–5 scale:

1 = Rarely true of me

2 = Occasionally true of me

3 = Sometimes true of me

4 = Often true of me

5 = Consistently true of me

Participants rate each statement, and scores are averaged to provide:

• A Confidence Index (average of all confidence items)

• A Competence Index (average of all competence items)

• An Overall Leadership Growth Score (average of both indices)

SECTION A — CONFIDENCE

Focus: mindset, self-belief, resilience, and confidence in their role.

SECTION B — COMPETENCE

Focus: demonstrated behaviours, leadership skills, and team impact.
