Q1. Be honest. When you think about your business right now, what is the dominant feeling?
Frustration. I know what I want but I can’t seem to get there.
Exhaustion. I’m doing so much but nothing is really working.
Doubt. I’m not sure I’m cut out for this anymore.
Confusion. I can see where I want to go but I have no idea how to get there.
Q2. When it comes to your business goals, which statement sounds most like you?
*
I have a clear plan and I follow it consistently.
I have goals but I chase new ideas before finishing what I started.
I struggle to decide on a direction so I end up dabbling in several things at once.
I have no real plan. I’m mostly just reacting to whatever comes up.
Q3. Think about your past attempts to hit the next level in your business. What pattern do you notice?
*
I face obstacles and find a way through them. I have the resilience to keep going until I succeed.
I can make some progress and I stumble through. I know I could go further if I was more committed and disciplined.
I can make some progress but I feel resistance and I suspect it might be coming from within.
No matter how many times I try or how hard I push I always return back to where I started. I just can’t seem to dramatically change my condition.
Q4. When you think about what is possible for you and your business, which feels most true?
*
I genuinely believe success is possible for me and that belief drives everything I do.
I believe it is possible but I have moments where self doubt creeps in and slows me down.
I have tried so many times that my belief has taken a real hit. I want to believe but it is hard.
If I am honest I have stopped believing it is really possible for someone like me.
Q5. When things are not going the way you planned in your business, how do you respond?
*
I always take my next step from a place of trust and clarity. I pause, reflect, and reconnect with Allah.
I find myself anxious and second guessing but I remember to ground myself in my deen and eventually find my footing.
When the pressure is on faith takes a back seat. I work harder and push through on my own until things turn around.
No one is coming to rescue me. I make my own fate. At the end of the day it comes down to me and me alone. That is just how I operate.
Q6. When it comes to actually doing the work in your business, which sounds most like you?
*
I know what needs to be done, I have the skills to do it, and I execute consistently.
I get things done but I know my output could be better. I am still developing the skills and habits I need.
I fall short on execution. I have good intentions but I struggle to make things happen.
I am always behind. I end most days with more undone than done and I rarely mark anything as complete.
Q7. How would you describe the way you operate day to day as an entrepreneur?
*
I have reliable routines, personal systems, and consistent habits that keep me focused and productive.
I have some structure in my life but I am not consistent. There are days where I feel organised and days where everything slips.
I have structure sometimes but it comes and goes. I never quite manage to make it stick for long.
I have no real structure and I spend my days reacting to whatever is in front of me so I often swing between high highs and low lows.
Q8. When it comes to building your business, how would you describe your support system?
*
I have a strong network of like minded people around me who challenge, support, and hold me accountable.
I have a few people I can lean on but I would benefit from being around more people who truly get what I am going through.
I have people in my life but none of them really understand the entrepreneurial journey. I often feel alone in this.
I am completely on my own. I have no real community, accountability, or support around my business.
