ECHO's proprietary Listening Assessment is a ten-question survey that helps identify an individual's personal listening habits in a work setting. Different people listen "to" and "for" different kinds of information, and understanding your own listening habits can greatly enhance your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
This short but powerful assessment will highlight your particular listening strengths, offer insights into how your listening style influences the way others perceive you, and provide personalized guidance to maximize your listening capabilities.
In order to take the Listening Assessment, we ask you to provide some personal information including your name and email address. We also ask for some demographic information but providing this information is optional. This information would only be used anonymously, in aggregate, to identify listening trends across different demographics for our internal research purposes.
If you are taking this assessment in conjunction with a listening workshop, the overall results of your Listening Assessment may be shared and discussed in that workshop, and therefore may be shared with your employer, colleagues and other persons present during the workshop. All listening profiles are value neutral - none is better than another - and therefore your results do not judge ability or performance.
