Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract at the 10th Annual ID Week Congress in Park Rotana, Abu Dhabi, UAE this 02-03 October 2026. Kindly review the abstract guidelines carefully and ensure full compliance with the submission requirements, conditions, and terms of acceptance.

General Requirements

• All abstracts must be submitted through the official online submission portal.

• Submissions must be written in clear English.

• Only submissions received on or before 01 September 2026 will be considered.

• Abstracts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

Abstract Structure

Each Abstract must follow the required format:

• Title: Concise, descriptive, and relevant to infectious diseases

• Authors & Affiliations: List full names, institutional affiliations, and contact details of the corresponding author

• Background: Brief context and rationale

• Methods: Study design, population, and analytical approach

• Results: Key findings with relevant data

• Conclusion: Main takeaway and implications for practice or research

Formatting Specifications

• Maximum word count: 300 words (excluding title and authors)

• No tables, figures, or images in the abstract text.

• Use standard scientific nomenclature and avoid abbreviations unless defined.

Review & Selection

• All abstracts will undergo review by the UAE ID Week Scientific Committee

• Evaluation criteria include originality, scientific thoroughness, clarity, and relevance to infectious diseases practice

• Top 2 selected abstracts will be invited for a 10-minute oral presentation during the congress

Awards

• Winners will receive recognition certificates during the closing ceremony.

The presenting author is the abstract submitter and is responsible for presenting the abstract during the poster evaluation session at the congress.
