Nominate a Member for the ZAA Magazine Member Spotlight

Each quarter, ZAA recognizes an outstanding member whose dedication, engagement, and contributions have strengthened the organization and the zoological community. The Member Spotlight highlights individuals who actively participate in ZAA programs, support their peers, and make meaningful contributions to animal care, conservation, education, leadership, or other areas of the field.

Members may nominate themselves or another eligible member. If you are nominating yourself, please answer the questions from your own perspective. If you are nominating another member, answer based on your knowledge of that individual's contributions and experiences.

Eligibility Requirements

Current ZAA member in good standing
Member for at least three years by the magazine issue release date (student members are eligible after one year)
Attended at least one ZAA event (Annual Conference, Semi-Annual Meeting, or Multi-Organization Symposium)
Not currently serving in a director or executive-level position
Willing to participate in an interview and provide photos
