Welcome. Let’s begin your application.

This application is a space for reflection, clarity, and truth-telling—not performance. We're here to learn more about what brings you to this work, and whether this training is aligned with your current path.

Let’s stay in touch.

Just a few practical details so we can reach you during the application process.

Your Vision

Take a moment to feel into the parts of you that are ready to grow, lead, and serve. These questions help us understand what inspires you and what you hope to cultivate.

Creating space for your growth.

We want you to receive the full value of this training. These questions explore whether the timing and rhythm of the program are going to suit you.

This training involves 15 - 25 hours/month of learning, personal embodiment practices, and group dialogues. Every few months, we have a rest period of a few weeks, so you can integrate what you’ve learned. At the end of the training, each student completes 2 assignments and receives embodied feedback from a qualified mentor.

Feeling Safe & Supported In Your Journey

We ask the following questions with deep care and no judgment, to make sure the program will feel supportive—not overwhelming—for you.

These questions, relating to your mental health, are here to assist us to understand how best to support you. We appreciate the sensitive nature of mental health related questions, and the stigma around mental health that shows up in mainstream society. We will keep your information 100% confidential and private. Thank you for your trust and understanding.

The Somatic Educator for Women Training offers a powerful opportunity to deepen your connection with your body, emotions, and embodiment. Together we will explore meaningful personal and collective themes that inspire deep, personal growth.

This training is a professional development program, not a healing container. However, we do explore sensitive themes, as well as emotional release, use of your voice, working with your breath, and physical movement like shaking and touch. Sometimes these themes and practices can bring up strong feelings.

We ask that participants are able to regulate their emotions and activations during the training, using their own tools or outside support when needed (such as therapy, somatic support, or self-care practices). We can recommend therapists who offer 1:1 sessions outside of the program, if needed.

Most of us carry some level of trauma—this is part of being human. In this training, your emotions, your story, and your tenderness are welcome. However, this training is not designed to support people who are currently experiencing acute trauma where daily life is heavily impacted.

Thanks again for trusting us with the information that we need in order to best support you.

What medicine do you carry?

This training honours the idea that your story, your healing, and your lived experience are powerful tools for leadership. Let’s reflect on what’s shaped you and what you’re here to share.

This program centres the understanding that who you are—your story, your presence, your embodiment—is what others learn from and are inspired by. One of the most powerful ways our students step into embodied leadership is by transforming their own pain into purpose and offering it as medicine to the world.

Based on the life experiences and challenges you’ve moved through, what do you sense your medicine for the world might be?

Investing In Your Training

The investment to complete the Somatic Educator For Women Training is $7k USD. We aim to make our training accessible to a diverse group of women. We will assess your application once you have submitted it. During the assessment process, if you qualify for a financial subsidy, we will inform you in your approval email. You’ll also have the opportunity to book in a call with a student support person before you decide to commit to join the training.

We offer a small number of women a 5 - 15% price reduction on the program. We specifically select women who fulfil most or all of these criteria:

  • Were born into and live in a socio-economic region/background that makes the cost of the training prohibitive.

  • Are a part of one or more disadvantaged minority groups

  • Demonstrate leadership in one or more of these areas: womens work, embodiment, shadow work and somatics

  • Have already offered significant contributions within their community

Let us know if you need support.

Our financial assistance program is for women who show strong alignment with the training and face genuine structural barriers to access. Please share honestly—we want to support where we can.

To the best of our ability and within our means, we provide equitable opportunities to potential practitioners. We choose to focus our efforts to support the training of socio-economically disadvantaged women who show particular promise as potential Somatic Educators For Women.
