Intern: A temporary, often entry-level position designed to provide students or early-career individuals with hands-on experience, exposure to professional environments, and skill development in a specific field.

Apprentice: A structured, paid program combining on-the-job training with classroom instruction, allowing individuals to develop specialized skills in a trade or profession while earning credentials and work experience.
