Thank you for reaching out to us. This form helps us learn more about your rooster and determine whether we’re the right fit for him. We know surrendering an animal can be a tough decision, and we’re here to support you and the bird through the process.

Please fill out the form as completely as possible. If you don’t know the answer to something, write "unknown." Once we receive your submission, we’ll follow up within 2–3 business days.

If this is an emergency situation, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We accept roosters who meet the following criteria:

Are in need of permanent sanctuary due to abandonment, surrender, or displacement
Are healthy or have manageable medical needs (we can assess case-by-case)
Are not aggressive toward humans (or can be safely housed with appropriate accommodations)
Come from private homes, 4-H programs, educational settings, or overcrowded rescues

Because space and resources are limited, we accept roosters based on current capacity and compatibility with existing residents. We do not accept birds for breeding, short-term placement, or meat purposes. All incoming roosters must undergo a health screening before introduction to the sanctuary.

💵 Please note: A minimum donation of $35 per rooster is required when a surrender date is scheduled. This helps cover initial care, feed, and housing expenses.
