Healthcare professionals from the GCC and beyond are invited to submit abstracts for Oral and E-Poster presentations at the 5th Annual International Oncology Forum (IOF 2026), taking place on 11–12 April 2026 at SHANGRI-La Dubai, UAE.Participants are encouraged to submit original, unpublished research and clinically relevant scientific studies across a wide range of general oncology topics.This is a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and contribute to advancing cancer care through evidence-based research.

Abstracts must be based on original scientific research that has not been published previously.
Research should address clinically relevant scientific questions within the listed submission categories.
Accepted study types include:
Randomized clinical trials
Prospective studies
Retrospective research studies
Submissions should represent high-impact research with practice-changing implications.
Case reports and case series will not be accepted

Deadline for Abstract Submission: 15th March 2026
Notification of Acceptance: Will be sent via email after the Scientific Committee reviews all abstracts.
Extensions: Any extension to the submission deadline, if recommended by the Scientific Committee, will be communicated through the official website, email, and social media channels.
Publication: All accepted abstracts will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.
Presentation Opportunity: Selected abstracts may be offered an opportunity for oral presentation as part of the conference agenda.
Modification / Withdrawal: Once submitted, abstracts cannot be modified or withdrawn.

The abstract must include the following sections:
Introduction
Objectives
Materials and Methods
Results
Conclusions
Maximum length: 600 words
Abstract must be written in English
Provide 5–6 keywords related to the topic
Covering letter stating the purpose of presenting the work at IOF 2026 is required
First Author Responsibilities & Eligibility
The first author must present the abstract if selected
If unavailable, a co-author with similar eligibility criteria may present, provided:
The co-author is listed in the abstract
The organizing committee is informed at least 14 days prior to the event
All oral presenters must obtain a speaker permit prior to the event
First Author Eligibility Criteria
Must NOT be in a consultant, professor, or leadership position
Must NOT be in a senior nursing or leadership role
Trainees, medical officers, specialists, researchers, and medical students are encouraged to submit as first authors
Mentorship
Abstract presentations are intended to encourage junior and trainee presenters with support from senior mentors
Single-author submissions are discouraged
JIPO REQUIRED INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES FOR APPROVED E-POSTER PRESENTATIONS
FORMAT: All abstracts must be prepared and submitted according to the following guidelines:
LENGTH: Maximum 600 words including title, author information, and text.
AUTHORS: Include the full name of each author in the desired order. Use superscript numbers to indicate each author’s affiliation. Do not include professional titles or degrees.
Important: The submitting author should not add other co-authors without their prior agreement. Do not include anyone who does not meet the criteria for authorship as defined by the ICMJE.
AFFILIATIONS: Number each affiliation and include department (if applicable), institution or company name, city, state (if applicable), and country.
EMAIL: The submitting author must provide a valid email address for queries
STRUCTURE: Abstracts should have headings: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion
Case reports and series will not be accepted
Text must be in English, define abbreviations at first mention, avoid references
TABLES/FIGURES: 1–2 brief tables or figures (high resolution, 300 dpi) allowed; may be removed if needed due to space constraints
PROOFREAD: Abstracts will be published as-is
RESPONSIBILITY: All authors approve the final version and agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work
PERMISSION TO PUBLISH: Submission grants permission for JIPO publication
COPYRIGHTS: Abstract must not include copyrighted material and must not be under consideration elsewhere
