Kindergarten Teacher Survey on Early Development

Approx. 2-3 minutes)

Your classroom experience provides valuable insight into how young children begin

developing the foundations for reading.

Why is early childhood essential to early development

The journey to reading does not begin with letters on a page. It begins much earlier

when children start noticing sounds, patterns, language, and symbols in their world.

Kindergarten educators are fundamental to observing how these early foundations

develop. Through play, conversation, music, and exploration, children begin

developing the listening, memory, and visual awareness skills that later support

reading.

This short survey invites you to share your professional observations and

experiences supporting children's early awareness of sounds, language, and

symbols.

This survey takes approximately two to three minutes to complete, and responses are

anonymous.

There are no right or wrong answers. We are simply interested in learning from your

classroom experiences.
