Select one or more problem statements to work on that you resonate with in order of preference (max. upto 3)

1. Help more people stay connected to the wisdom
People experience SKY and its transformation, stay connected for a while, and then get caught up in life and quietly drift away. Part of the reason is that our follow-up treats everyone as one group. The same message goes to everyone, regardless of where they are in their journey.
Build: A system that maps each participant's journey from their history (courses taken, events attended, last contact, engagement signals) and, for each person, predicts a fitting next step, a follow-on course, a retreat, a seva role, or re-engagement if they've gone quiet. For each prediction it drafts a personalized message and suggests a channel. Built and demoed on the sample participant data provide.

Success: follow-up feels personal rather than broadcast, and fewer people drift away after their first course.

2. Free up volunteers to spend their time on people, not admin
So much of our reach depends on volunteers, but their time gets eaten by making promo material by hand and chasing scattered contacts after events like WCF  and people who reached out often get forgotten simply because no one had the bandwidth to follow up.
Build: An AI Application that helps on three fronts

(a) creative: generates on-brand posters and social graphics from a few program details, using our brand kit;

(b) follow-up: suggests who to reconnect with and drafts a warm, personal next message;

(c) outreach: captures contacts from events and flags people or opportunities worth pursuing, such as talks, panels, and partnerships, basically handling leads/ Contacts and follow-ups stay organized in one place. Built and demoed on the sample data provided.
Success: on-brand creative in minutes, less manual chasing on leads and smartly track, anSlide 2 Primary area of expertise*Technical skill level (beginner, intermediate, professional, advanced)*Professional Experience/Relevant background*Have you participated in a hackathon before?*Yes, I have in a fewYes, I am a veteranNo, this would be my firstT & C*I agree to the Privacy Policy. 3. Help every willing hand find its place in seva
Plenty of people across Canada want to contribute, but their offer to help quietly goes unused because matching skills to real seva is all manual  and even when they do serve, the impact of what they gave is hard to see.
Build: A platform with volunteer profiles (skills, interests, availability), a searchable directory, and a matching view that suggests suitable volunteers for a given seva, plus a simple impact view (hours contributed, events supported, people reached). Built and demoed on the sample volunteer data provided.
Success: coordinators find the right volunteers in minutes, and everyone can see the impact of what they gave.

4. Give volunteers and teachers answers, so they can focus on serving
Volunteers and teachers hit the same recurring questions: how to register someone, where a resource lives, what the process is for something  and the answers are scattered or hard to find, so time gets lost hunting or waiting on someone else.

Build: An AI application that answers common questions about our programs, processes, and resources, drawing on a provided knowledge set, so people get a reliable answer instead of searching or asking around. Built and demoed on the provided knowledge set.
Success: a volunteer or teacher gets a trustworthy answer in seconds, without waiting on anyone.

5. Let volunteers give their time, not lose it to paperwork
The finance work around events and programs  reimbursements, invoices, budget tracking  is largely manual, and it quietly drains the time and goodwill of the volunteers who take it on.
Build: A tool that reduces this manual finance work  for example, submitting and approving expense reimbursements, or generating and tracking invoices. Built and demoed on the sample data provided.
Success: less time lost to paperwork, and fewer errors and delays.

6. Solve a real problem you've seen yourself
Not every problem worth solving fits the categories above and the people closest to our work often see the ones no one has named yet.
Build: Submit your proposal that you think solves a genuine, everyday problem for Art of Living's events, programs, or people. Come with a clear problem, who it's for, and what your demo will show.

Success: a working solution to a real pain point the team recognizes.
